New Orleans

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say hello and attach a picture from New Orleans. I just returned from a 30 day deployment to protect government employees and maintain peace in the destroyed areas of the city. Anyway, if anyone knows me very well you will know that I did my part in the category of community policing. I stopped by and did a little fishing in the Mississippi river with one of the Hurricane victims. It was hard duty, but I survived. I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to hear from all of you soon.

Guess Who?

The first person who correctly guesses who this former SPO is will receive a copy of the DVD Weapons to Wildlife: Unforgettable, the Kaiser-Hill public relations DVD about the clean up at the Flats. As a bonus, the winner will also get a copy of Blowing-up, the Phil Jarvis directed, narrated, and produced DVD about, you guessed it, blowing things up at the Flats.
Leave your comments now! The first person to leave the correct answer in the comments wins!

The apple orchard

It is actually in color but it was a gloomy day, the apple orchard seen from Gate 8 looking south.
Thank you, Pete, for all the memories.

Training Sir!!!!!!

The Colorado Air National Guard came out to the site and did a few fly by's with the Loach Helicopter. Everyone had miles equipped weapons and the helicopter had harness's wrapped around and inside it. It was a fun day in the North Buffer. We all learned that at 120 Knots that thing can move and would be hard as hell to bring down.
Thanks to Pete for the info and photo.
