Lonnie Schwendeman
It's great to see all the faces and hear about how everyones lives have played out. My how time flies. Seems as tho Rocky Flats was in another lifetime. I'm back in Arvada after my exile in Amarillo. Pantex was the pitts and I hated every minute. Two years of Hell. I must admit tho that I worked with some great folks and having Kirk Garland and Bob Lynch there made life bearable. I have seen a few of you around town and I love to remember the good old days. Had coffee with Jude DelHierro last week and he is still the same. He's started a new ministry and his headquarters is at 14th and Quitman in Denver. Joe Meeds lives a couple blocks from me and He is doing well. Works for Jeffco Sherriff in the jail. Went to Coors yesterday and spoke with Tim Powell. He's the communications director for Coors security. He tells me that Charley Arnold started there about 8 months ago. Saw Mark Graff and Debbie Gough at Starbucks on seperate occasions.
Hope to see more of you around town and maybe hoist a beer or cup of coffee. My e-mail is maggnum56@comcast.net

Hello from Denver......
Hello all...
It was nice to find the blog and read up on where you all have gone. I am still in the Denver area and working with Denver PD as a detective in the Traffic Investigations Bureau (Accident Re-constructionist).
If any of you get this way and want to say hello, please call or email.

Hello from the Wonser's
Hello! A friend of ours gave Mike the blog site to check out. He still hasn't had the chance to review it, but I did today. Mike worked at the Flats from 1992 to 2000. We moved to California in July of 2000. Both of us work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, since 2000. Mike is still SRT and on night shift (believe it or not... the night shift is the preferred shift here). Below is the contact info for Mike to be added to your listing.

Glad to find the site!
Hi guys.
I was in security late 70s to early 80s, then again from (I think) about 84 to early 90s. I was on SRT during the black uniform era, as well as a swat team prior to that under the direction of Sunny Cruiz. I also was on bomb and sniper teams. I was there for the big protests as well. I still live in the area in Wheat Ridge.
Is there a directory I can get listed on, and if so, how can I access it to look up old friends?
I have a small e-mail list I'm glad to share with folks that worked at the flats. I cobbeled it together from e-mails I recieved. If anyone wants on it send your e-mail address to rockyflats@gmail.com. I'll only share it only with people that worked at the flats.
Also, is there a mailing list so I can get in on some get-togethers and whatnot?
Usually, someone sends me an announcement and I post it.
Also, what's the best way to contribute pictures - post them myself / send them to you?
Send the pictures to rockyflats@gmail.com.
Wish I had known about your site sooner, but glad I found it now. Great job! Hope to hear from you soon.
Glad you found us!
