A meeting place for the security professionals from Rocky Flats.

The purpose of this blog is to reconnect with our friends from the Flats and find out what's going on now with each other. Let’s share memories, pictures, stories, jokes, and anything else-all in one place.

Pete,
I think you were the captain on duty that night. Gary Moses keeps telling that story about how all the other supervisors disappeared, except you. No one wanted to be near Lavernier that night!

DDT, Oh my gosh it is so good to see a post from you! Things are good here in Vegas. Very different from the Flats. It is nice to be in a place with familiar friendly faces. Fred is enjoying retirement and taking care of me. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Hello everyone,It is great to find you all here on this blog .I was at the flats from 1990- 2003 and transfered to The Nevada Test Site With 9 others We all catch s#@t from the site SPO"s About being from rocky but we wear that like a badge of honor. I moved tho nevada with my son Kodi and my girlfriend Julie beck we are still togther. Julie worked in T119b trailer for worldwide sec. doing OPSEC. Life here in the desert is a bit different, and the sense of famile at NTS is nonexistant, unlike what we had at The Flats.I read in a post on this blog that this is all a dream and rocky is still there....Boy do I wish that was the case We all had some great times there.anyway I just wanted to say Hi to everyone If anyone cares to e-mail me I am at Kkrommm@cox.net 702-656-3537 I wish everyone the best in all you do.

Hello,
I am just reading a few of your posts and I thought I would send an update on my husband Bob Pawelski. We are in Minnesota as planned after he retired from Rocky Flats, although Bob had a very serious stroke two years ago. He had to retire from the Mpls. VA Hospital as a police officer following the stroke. He is recovering better than expected. He is as tough as he always was in the past, and he never gives up. He would love to hear from any of his buddies that he worked with for so many years. He talks of you fondly and proudly. We are spending a lot of time at our lake home in northern Minnesota and in his home state of South Dakota. Take care to all of you. Lori Pawelski
